Former NFL executive and current analyst for NFL Network, Charley Casserly hopped on with the Schlereth and Evans show. Charley jumped right into what the Denver Broncos needs are for the upcoming season.
If you’re a fan of the Broncos, the big question on your mind is… What do the Broncos have at the quarterback position? Casserly held nothing back when he said, “Let’s forget about making an impact this year, let’s just try and concentrate on getting a guy you can develop for the future“. Wait, but what about the guys already on the team? Casserly summed that up with, “Sanchez is a back-up quarterback… his problem is, under pressure he turns the ball over“. Okay, so he’s not a fan of the Sanchize.
Charley did give his thoughts on what the options were in this years draft. “Paxton Lynch is a guy I like… I think he’d be a good fit, but he might take some time. Strong arm, quick release, got as much throwing talent as anybody in the draft. I think he’s a much better prospect than Brock Osweiler“.
Classic Charley, not afraid to take the gloves off and be honest.
